Australian founded EdTech company Zookal has launched Exam Prep Zookal Genius™ AI, a comprehensive, low-cost study for senior students preparing for their Year 11 and final year exams.
The AI powered platform is capable of calibrating over 3.8 million pieces of exam content, does maths more accurately than ChatGPT, and renders multi-modal content; accurately rendered equations, chemical compounds, charts, graphs, images and diagrams.
Zookal Genius™ can mirror the exam paper experience, providing papers generated through the current 2023 syllabus, backed by a constantly increasing data set of tens of thousands of questions.
The Zookal Genius™ AI engine drives the platform and uses language models with the built-in ability to categorise and understand content and structure it contextually in line with an exam format.
According to a study by the Australian Council for Educational Research in 2019, parents spend an average of $2,500 on their children’s year 12 education alone. With the cost of private tutoring for students driving inequity in the education system, the Exam Prep product powered by Zookal Genius™ AI ensures high quality, syllabus aligned evaluations and looks to bypass the need to hire tutors.
Australian Year 11 and 12 students will be the first to use the platform, Zookal is mapped to the HSC, VCE and QCE. The content links directly with the 2023 Syllabus and curriculum, so students have access to relevant information.
Year 12 Student Subhan Mustafa, a senior student at Sydney Boys Selective High School, is currently preparing for his final exams in October, and after using the new Zookal GeniusTM AI study platform, said it is a significant new development.
“After the HSC, I am hoping to gain entrance to The University of Sydney Law School. With enormous pressure to achieve a high ATAR to secure my spot, I have spent countless hours going through previous exam papers and study materials to help prepare. With Zookal GeniusTM, the platform does all of this work for me, delivering practice questions tailored specifically to the syllabus and providing immediate feedback on my work. It’s unlike anything else available. It’s a game changer when it comes to exam preparation.”
