More funds for QLD preschools
Sixty early childhood services in Queensland will share in $1.5 million in grants aimed to improve the safety and quality of service delivery, through the government's Small Assistance Grant Program.
Queensland’s early childhood services will share in $1.5 million in grants aimed to improve the safety and quality of service delivery.
The grants are through the QLD government's Small Assistance Grant Program and would support 60 services.
“This program provides grants of up to $30,000 for staff professional development, parental and family engagement activities and essential equipment and resources,” Education Minister Kate Jones said.
Funding of up to $50,000 was available to organisations wanting to enhance their outdoor play environment.
Funding will also be provided to support staff to allow other staff to undertake training, in regions where accessing professional development is more difficult.
