Online learning worldwide has skyrocketed over the last nine months according to the World Economic Forum.

UNESCO estimates more than 1.2 billion children in 186 countries have been shut out of classrooms, leading to a rise in e-learning where teaching has been undertaken remotely and on digital platforms.

An online schooling platform for Australian and international students from pre-kindergarten to Year 12, Schooling Online has seen a doubling in the number of students subscribing to its website.

Tiffanii Tseng, Founder of Schooling Online said “We believe the vast majority of Australian students have at one time over the recent nine months have accessed digital platforms to continue their education, which will be changed forever as a result.

“We have provided online services for tens of thousands of students in recent months across 20 different countries including: Australia, China, the UK and France to name a few and believe that e-learning demand will not decrease as schools re-open across the world”, she added.

Schooling Online provides lessons for students that meet Australian syllabus outcomes including the Shakespeare Today Series and Science lessons featuring super heroes and pirates for High School students.

The schooling programs are the extension of a 20-year-old school coaching service in Burwood (NSW) called Little Geniuses, which is staffed by 50 educators, who are currently coaching hundreds of students across Sydney.

Tseng said “We have taught and entertained kids of all ages anywhere, anytime and in the comfort of their own homes, especially during this difficult period. We are not only providing the subjects to be covered in the curriculum, but also life skills through the easy to follow and entertaining Early Learning and Primary programs”.

The Schooling Online platform provides both primary and secondary school students and their parents unlimited access to hundreds of lessons, as well as the free YouTube channel, as well as interactive comprehension sets, educational arts and craft and games for the Early Learning and Primary programs.

The platform distinguishes itself by emphasising practical life lessons alongside academic development. The Early Learning programs, including The Life Stages Series and A Life Skills Series, teach children valuable life skills, such as problem solving and critical thinking.

The price of Schooling Online subscriptions for children up to Year 6 is just $7.95 a month or $79.95 a year, while high school students are charged $12.95 a month or $129.95 a year.

Tseng said “We have priced the service at a very low rate – basically the price of a textbook – to ensure children get the best possible education after the crisis finally passes to enhance their school learning experience.

Schooling Online has now launched two free You Tube channels for students, with three video lessons being released each week and some attracting thousands of students worldwide.
