Xuno’s comprehensive school management and information system (SIS) including student management, welfare and communications is now partnering with Flexischools’ leading online ordering, payments and communications platform for parents, schools and suppliers.
Together, Xuno and Flexischools provide services to over 20% of Australia’s schools and the partnership will allow school communities access modules and solutions that best meet their specific needs.
Kiki Tanousis, Xuno CEO, says, “Schools want every element of their software to be at a high standard. When we listen to an orchestra, we expect that it is made up of individually skilled musicians. With school software, too often, our educators have had to put up with the cacophony of a one-person band – a bunch of instruments strapped together providing a range of sounds, none of them particularly pleasing. “
Providing all-in-one solutions that are a cluster of expert systems has always been Tanousis’ aim.
“Our system was born out of specialist products from the get-go. As leaders in student management, reporting and analytics, we recognise fellow leaders operating in parallel fields. That’s why we are delighted to work with Flexischools. Flexischools are the hands-down leader in school canteen services,” he adds.
Flexischools allows schools to move a number of services online. Parents can place school orders online for the canteen, uniform shop, event tickets, and make school fee payments all in one spot.
Flexischools’ founder, and Inloop group CEO Geoff Austen says, “Flexischools has come to be renowned for the performance, stability and sophistication of our products over the years and it is a pleasure to collaborate with Xuno, a like-minded group that runs some of the nation’s best-respected educational software. We have a long history of working with schools alongside other software and payment systems to deliver the most comprehensive service and support for parents, the school and their in-house and 3rd party service providers.”
Austen said that InLoop’s recently announced sale of the LanternPay business to HICAPS will allow the group to invest more time and resources into the Flexischools platform, they have recently launched the FLX debit card and savings app for students.
Austen said, “It is a natural extension of the long relationship we have had with families across Australia – giving Aussie kids the convenience of cashless transacting in a safe and secure environment outside of school as well as inside”.
Together, the group is working to make elements of each others’ software appear in both systems.
Xuno
Xuno is a comprehensive school management/information system (or SIS) with leading products in student management, welfare and communications. Spearheaded by Accelerus (Reporting and Assessment) and GradeXpert (Analytics) they integrate best-in-breed school software products under a single all-in-one framework. XUNO is the only school management platform that’s a cluster of expert systems, routinely provided to schools as separate modules so that they can augment their incumbent legacy software. Schools use Xuno as a complete SIS solution or individual modules to augment other SIS systems.
